Job Overview

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our UK Aerospace and Defense Sales team, selling a range of innovative and technologically advanced products and services to clients operating at the forefront of the Aerospace market. Based remotely and reporting to the EMEA Sales Manager, the position holder will act as the focal point for all sales and project-related topics in the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build customer relationships through dedicated customer accounts
  • Stay in permanent direct contact with the customer to ensure ongoing support and communication
  • Promote TE Connectivity's product portfolio and new technologies to the customer
  • IBP/S&OP Sales Forecasting
  • Preparing the Strategic Account Plan for key customers
  • Active participation in reviewing and supporting customer Business reviews
  • Market analysis and platform mapping
  • Monthly reporting of sales figures and project status
  • Identifying sales opportunities and converting them into won business
  • Price negotiation and providing quotations
  • Facilitating complex engineering projects
  • Coordinating responses for logistics and quality-related issues
  • Weekly travel within the region

Requirements

  • Sales experience in the Aerospace and Defense or similar markets
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills and the ability to build strong, credible relationships with multiple organization functions (internal and external)
  • Technical and commercial education/experience, e.g., Electrical Engineering or Industrial Engineering (specializing in electro-mechanics/electronics), would be beneficial or relevant industry experience
  • A professional level of business acumen and good commercial understanding
  • Proven track record in business development and the ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Clear strategic thinker with the ability to execute on priorities
  • Project Management Experience - facilitating complex projects
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Flexibility and a willingness to travel
  • Self-motivated with the ability to perform in a demanding environment
  • Strong communication, selling, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Target and results-driven
  • Microsoft Office SAP experience
