MEP CAD Technician Opportunity

LDNY People is partnering with a leading MEP Design and Build Contractor to find a skilled MEP CAD Technician to join their Design Team in North Surrey.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a well-established company that has a strong reputation for project delivery and a large amount of repeat business with long-term clients.

The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality, accurate CAD drawings using AutoCAD and other relevant software. Experience with Cad Duct/Fabrication CAD MEP is highly desirable, but training will be offered.

The role requires a strong understanding of the Design and Build process and the ability to work effectively in an office-based environment. The ideal candidate will be a team player who is happy to attend site meetings and surveys.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce high-quality CAD drawings using AutoCAD and other relevant software.
  • Work effectively in an office-based environment.
  • Attend site meetings and surveys as required.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the Design and Build process.

Requirements:

  • Experience working as a CAD Technician/Coordinator in the MEP sector.
  • Experience using AutoCAD within an M&E environment is essential.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new software and processes.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
