About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Belfast Central Mission. As a Support Worker for Children and Families, you will play a vital role in providing holistic support to families with children aged 0-5, promoting the best outcomes for the children and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work independently with a caseload of families to assess their individual needs and develop a plan of support.
  • Provide regular face-to-face meetings with families to review progress and adjust the support plan as needed.
  • Collaborate with other professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to supporting families.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with families, building trust and rapport to facilitate effective support.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of practice.
Requirements
  • GCSE English or equivalent.
  • Experience of working with families and children aged 0-5.
  • Knowledge of child protection.
  • A full driving license and access to a car with business insurance.
