Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Paralegal to join our team at Maxim Recruitment Solutions. As a key member of our Private Client team, you will be responsible for managing your own caseload and providing exceptional support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Document Management: You will be responsible for collating and checking documents, preparing files, and ensuring that all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Assisting with Day-to-Day Legal Tasks: You will provide support to our lawyers and other team members with various legal tasks, including drafting legal documentation and reports.
  • Research and Analysis: You will conduct research and analysis of documents to provide advice to our clients and ensure that all cases are managed efficiently.
  • Case Management: You will be responsible for managing your own caseload, ensuring that all cases are progressed smoothly, and that deadlines are met.
  • Business Acumen: You will demonstrate good business acumen and be able to provide advice on how to improve our clients' businesses.

Essential Skills:

  • Flexibility and Adaptability: You will be flexible and willing to work within a busy team environment.
  • Wills and Probate Experience: You will have experience in Wills and Probate and be able to manage your own caseload.
  • Attention to Detail: You will be accurate with good attention to detail and be able to ensure that all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Communication Skills: You will have good communication skills and be able to work effectively with our clients and other team members.
  • Time Management Skills: You will have good time management skills and be able to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Organizational Skills: You will be highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • IT Literacy: You will have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and be able to use it effectively.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this role is negotiable, but we envisage this will be between £30,000 - £35,000. There is also a very lucrative benefits package available with the role.
