We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our client's team in Driffield. As a key member of the finance department, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Directors in making informed financial decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present timely and accurate financial reports, including management accounts, variance to budget analysis, and dashboard information.
  • Financial Planning: Contribute to the financial, operational, and strategic planning of the company to ensure its smooth running.
  • Financial Management: Manage the company's bank accounts, credit cards, and cash flow to ensure efficient financial operations.
  • Cost Management: Allocate cost centers, departments, and projects to enable the assessment of weekly work-in-progress and profitability.
  • Supplier Management: Oversee the payment of suppliers and maintain accurate records.
  • Credit Control: Manage the company's credit control processes to ensure timely payment from customers.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in financial management and accounting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and other financial software.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of £35,000 - £38,000 (pro rata for part-time hours).
