Job Title: 1:1 Tutor

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 tutor to support students with diverse needs in the Nottingham area.

About the Role:

This is a temporary position, with the option to become permanent in the future. As a 1:1 tutor, you will work with students who require targeted intervention in Maths, English, and Science up to GCSE level. You will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans and resources to cater to the individual needs of each student.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver 1:1 tuition to students with varying needs, including SEND, Children in Care, School Refusers, and Asylum Seekers.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that address specific learning gaps and needs.
  • Work collaboratively with the student's family and other support staff to ensure a comprehensive support network.
  • Provide regular progress updates and feedback to the student's family and Teaching Personnel.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: QTS or a similar teaching qualification.
  • Experience: Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, with a focus on Maths, English, and Science.
  • Skills: Ability to create engaging lesson plans, patience, compassion, and resilience.
