About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team at Poundland. As a key member of our transportation department, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate HGV Class 1 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation regulations and company policies
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and external partners
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive work environment
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • Valid HGV Class 1 license with no endorsements
  • CPC card and geographical knowledge
  • 1 year's driving experience
  • Excellent work ethic and common sense
  • Self-motivated with a 'can do' attitude

What We Offer:

  • Competitive hourly rate of £14.76
  • Weekend premium of £2.00 per hour
