About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hedge Fund Risk Manager to join our team at All Volusia and Flagler Heating and Air. As a key member of our Credit Risk Management team, you will be responsible for analyzing and managing credit risk exposure to hedge funds and private equity clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct detailed due diligence on hedge fund and private equity clients to assess their creditworthiness and risk profile.
  • Negotiate credit terms in legal documentation to ensure alignment with our risk management policies.
  • Approve internal counterparty ratings and limits under delegated authority, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Review and approve trade requests to ensure they align with our risk management policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to the firm's Risk Change agenda and participate in regulatory and audit assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Requirements
  • Experience in managing hedge fund and/or private equity credit risk at a major financial institution, including application of delegated approval authority.
  • Product knowledge of all major derivative instruments and prime brokerage products/services, with a full understanding of their respective risk characteristics.
  • Understanding of master trading documentation, particularly International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA), Global Master Repo Agreements (GMRA), Futures and Options (F&O), and Prime Brokerage Agreements.
  • Display a detailed understanding of the credit risk framework, including relevant exposure metrics and stressing testing.
  • Analytical mind set and problem-solving ability with a quantitative aptitude.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
