Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Mechanical Fitter to join our team at Kiota Recruitment. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to work with a reputable company in the pump industry.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and pumps at customer sites and in-house.
  • Adhere to manufacturer guidelines and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and customers to ensure seamless job execution.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, and conduct daily maintenance on company vehicles.
  • Report any defects or issues with tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including PPE protocols.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with engines or a mechanical engineering background, with a strong understanding of underlying issues and solutions.
  • Experience working in a plant environment, on-site with customers, and in a workshop setting.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate information into practical solutions.
  • A willingness to learn and grow within the role, with a commitment to developing existing knowledge and skills.
  • Hold an NVQ in Mechanical, Plant Maintenance, or a similar equivalent qualification.
  • Full UK driving license, as this role will involve attending site visits and break downs.
  • Demonstrate professionalism and customer focus at all times.
