Fire Alarm Engineer and Service Engineer Job Description

CV Library is seeking a highly skilled Fire Alarm Engineer and Service Engineer to join our team. As a Fire Alarm Engineer and Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire alarm systems, as well as providing excellent customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform PPM and reactive maintenance of Gent fire alarm systems, fire panels, and emergency lighting
  • Undertake electrical works within the area in an efficient and safe manner, with repairs undertaken as appropriate
  • Ensure adherence to the company's Health and Safety policy
The Package:
  • Salary: £36,500 plus door-to-door travel
  • Plenty of overtime paid at 1.5x
  • Location: East Anglia, Cambridge, and surrounding areas
  • 40-hour week

  • 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays, plus one extra day for every year served up to 25 days

Requirements:
  • City and Guilds 2360 Parts 1 & 2 qualification or equivalent
  • 18th Edition Regulations
  • Experience in dealing with all types of electrical fire life safety works, within the services sector - fire alarms and panels
  • Gent fire alarm experience
  • Clean driving license
  • Ability to lift and climb ladders safely
  • DBS cleared
