Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for quoting in response to customer enquiries and converting these quotes to sales. Additionally, they will be responsible for speaking with target customers to understand their needs, explain our products, and book appointments for our Sales Director.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer enquiries and manage the sales pipeline to achieve sales targets.
- Convert quotes to sales and raise purchase orders with suppliers as needed.
- Participate in sales meetings, sharing data, learnings, and suggestions for continuous improvement.
- Log, investigate, and resolve customer issues as required.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience selling valves or other mechanical items to the water, wastewater, offshore, and petrochemical industries.
- Able to read engineering drawings.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Driven to hit sales targets.
