The organization specializes in tailored industrial cleaning solutions designed to address the specific requirements of their industrial clientele and their facilities.
This role offers a temp to perm opportunity for the right individual.The Role:
The ideal candidate must possess a shovel ticket, with high-rise experience being advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow directives from the Line Manager, executing tasks effectively in compliance with regulations and the company's best interests.
- Operate machinery, equipment, and plant as instructed, adhering to policies, procedures, and relevant training.
- Transport waste utilizing suitable vehicles and equipment.
- Load materials as directed by the Line Manager, ensuring all lorries, bins, and containers are filled promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the site by ensuring all materials and waste are properly loaded into containers.
- Complete all required reporting documentation.
- Conduct driver maintenance accurately and at designated intervals, reporting any vehicle or equipment faults immediately through the approved channels.
- Report any incidents involving vehicles, equipment, self, or third parties to the Contract Manager without delay, completing necessary forms thoroughly.
- Operate loading shovels, telehandlers, material handlers, or other loading machinery as needed.
- Perform Sweeper Driving duties.
- Keep all vehicles clean and well-maintained, including jet washing and ensuring a good appearance.
- Conduct shift handovers to appropriate staff members.
- Carry out general maintenance tasks, including walk-around checks and ensuring vehicles are presentable.
- Ensure adherence to all company protocols.
- Operate equipment safely and competently.
- Assist with general operations as required.
