Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team as an Engineering Surveyor. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for inspecting and testing lifting equipment and pressure systems to ensure they are safe and compliant with regulations.

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity for a mechanical professional with lifting equipment experience to develop their skills and knowledge in a world-renowned company. You will work on a variety of projects, including marine, agriculture, manufacturing, power plants, and airports, ensuring that all equipment is safe and functioning correctly.

Responsibilities:

  1. Inspect and test lifting equipment and pressure systems to ensure compliance with regulations
  2. Conduct thorough inspections of equipment to identify any potential hazards or defects
  3. Develop and implement procedures for testing and inspection of equipment
  4. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure that all equipment is safe and functioning correctly

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a HNC level education in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, as well as experience in maintaining and servicing lifting equipment and cranes. You should also have a strong understanding of LOLER and PUWER regulations.
