Specialist Paediatric Physiotherapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paediatric Physiotherapist to join our team at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust. As a Specialist Paediatric Physiotherapist, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality physiotherapy services to children and young people aged 0-19 in the community setting.

• Provide advanced physiotherapy assessment, treatment, management, and advice to paediatric patients aged 0-19 in the community setting.
• Work autonomously, unsupervised, and at times in conjunction with less senior team colleagues across a variety of locations within the community, including patients' homes, schools, and clinics.
• Develop specialist knowledge and experience in paediatric skills to become a specialist practitioner.
• Contribute to the development of service user and staff experiences through active involvement in service development projects and quality improvement initiatives.

• State registered physiotherapist (Health Care Professional Council)
• Broad range of post-registration experience as a band 5 physiotherapist in a rotational post
• Experience of multidisciplinary team working and multi-agency working
• Proven significant experience of paediatrics gained within postgraduate job roles, including neurology/developmental paediatrics
• NHS community experience, including EHCP and use of equipment

• Experience of orthotics
• Experience of outcome measures in paediatrics
• Experience of managing other physiotherapists/support staff
• Experience of research/service development or project work
