Position Overview:

As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality standards of our precision engineering operations. Your primary responsibility will be to support the management of quality processes, ensuring that all documentation and components meet both company and client specifications.

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM

Compensation:
40 hours per week at £12 per hour

Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist in updating the Quality Management System (QMS) and conducting internal audits.
2. Facilitate the onboarding of new employees regarding QMS protocols.
3. Provide support for technical challenges and contribute to problem-solving discussions.
4. Manage and assist with Internal Review Notes (IRN), Supplier Review Notes (SRN), and Customer Review Notes (CRN) systems.
5. Communicate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) to relevant stakeholders and collaborate on resolutions.
6. Conduct timely investigations into quality issues.
7. Support budget management efforts.
8. Assist in the preparation of route cards, drawings, and work instructions.
9. Collaborate with the inspection department to ensure effective calibration management and secure CMM programs.
10. Work alongside team members to uphold quality standards consistently.
11. Adhere to company quality procedures as outlined in the QMS.
12. Undertake reasonable requests from management and participate in staff meetings as required.
13. Maintain flexibility to support business needs and attend training sessions as necessary.
14. Communicate professionally and provide suggestions for process improvements.
15. Strive to minimize waste for both company benefit and environmental responsibility.
16. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
17. Ensure all components are properly identified using Route Cards or Split Batches.
18. Report any issues to management immediately.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience in programming with CAD/CAM/Solidworks/Vericut.
- Experience in both online and offline programming.
- Fully skilled in turning setting and operating.
