Job Overview

Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Directorate Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing senior clinical leadership to our Community Rehabilitation Team (CRT) and ensuring the medical care of patients under their care.

The CRT is a fully integrated team that provides intensive in-reach work while patients are on the ward, building trusting relationships and ensuring continuity of care when they leave the ward. The team's aim is to promote independence and prevent relapses, with a strong focus on social, educational, and occupational recovery.

Main Duties
  • Provide senior clinical leadership to the CRT team
  • Direct clinical assessments and consultations for patients under the care of CRT
  • Medical input and leadership in weekly MDT care planning/risk management planning meetings
  • Responsible Clinician responsibilities with attendance at and report-writing for Mental Health Tribunals and Managers hearings
  • Compliance with all legal obligations covering clinical practice
  • Active management of caseloads and response to new patients as they are referred

Person Specification
  • Full registration with the GMC
  • MBBS or equivalent qualification
  • AC status or ability to achieve within 3 months
  • Excellent clinical skills using a bio-psycho-social perspective and wide medical knowledge
