About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team on the Acute Assessment Unit at the Isle of Wight NHS Trust. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of excellent and compassionate care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a high standard of care for patients in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Take charge of the ward/clinical unit in the absence of the Sister/Charge Nurse/Team Leader and deputy.
- Act as an advocate for patients, ensuring their needs are met and their rights are respected.
Person Specification
- Registered Nurse with NMC registration.
- Evidence of relevant post-basic study.
- Able to make judgments based on practice and translate this for use in the ward environment.
- Understanding of current developments in the NHS and their implications for nursing and quality care.
