We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Families Support Specialist to join our team at Turning Point. As a Families Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting family members and significant others affected by substance use issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement personalized support plans that address the unique needs of each family.
- Provide emotional support and guidance to family members, promoting a positive and empowering approach to recovery.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Conduct regular assessments and reviews to monitor progress and adjust support plans as needed.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of client interactions and progress.
Requirements
- Experience working with families affected by substance use issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and crisis management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software systems.
