- Financial Controls: Collaborate with the team to develop and implement robust financial controls.
- Tax Compliance: Oversee sales and use tax reporting, compliance, and other regulatory requirements.
- Excel Expertise: Utilize advanced Excel skills for data analysis, reporting, and process automation.
- Process Improvement: Lead efforts to improve and streamline accounting processes, leveraging technology to enhance efficiency.
- System Maintenance: Partner with software vendors to maintain and optimize accounting systems, recommending updates as needed.
- Special Projects: Support the Controller with special projects, financial analysis, and other tasks as required.
- Credit Management: Oversee credit management processes, working closely with the accounting specialist and contract specialist to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment, with a strong emphasis on cost accounting.
- Technical Skills: Extensive experience with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, including advanced functions such as pivot tables, XLOOKUP, and complex formulas.
- Accounting Software: Proficiency with accounting software.
$65,000-$75,000 base salary
