Job Summary

Cypress Human Capital Management, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team. Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and budget variance reports.
  • Account Reconciliation: Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory costing processes, ensuring accuracy and developing strategies for improvement.
  • Financial Controls: Collaborate with the team to develop and implement robust financial controls.
  • Tax Compliance: Oversee sales and use tax reporting, compliance, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Excel Expertise: Utilize advanced Excel skills for data analysis, reporting, and process automation.
  • Process Improvement: Lead efforts to improve and streamline accounting processes, leveraging technology to enhance efficiency.
  • System Maintenance: Partner with software vendors to maintain and optimize accounting systems, recommending updates as needed.
  • Special Projects: Support the Controller with special projects, financial analysis, and other tasks as required.
  • Credit Management: Oversee credit management processes, working closely with the accounting specialist and contract specialist to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment, with a strong emphasis on cost accounting.
  • Technical Skills: Extensive experience with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, including advanced functions such as pivot tables, XLOOKUP, and complex formulas.
  • Accounting Software: Proficiency with accounting software.
Compensation

$65,000-$75,000 base salary
