About the Role

Polypipe Building Services is seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Manager to join our team. As a Technical Sales Manager, you will be responsible for selling our range of products and services to commercial clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver expected conversion rates on select projects through a cradle-to-grave approach in collaboration with the sales team.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders on new projects, documenting progress and activities on assigned opportunities.
  • Manage contractor terms and agreements, including regular reviews of levels and spend to justify terms.
  • Provide first-line technical dialogue and information to customers.
  • Liaise with clients and deal with objections.
  • Deal with incoming enquiries quickly and provide excellent customer service.
  • Complete weekly reporting on the CRM system.
  • Identify incremental growth opportunities.
  • Represent and support the business at social and brand awareness events.
  • Provide site assistance and technical training.
  • Own the delivery and supply of projects by supporting operational departments.
Requirements
  • Excellent knowledge of the M&E marketplace and a proven track record of working on large-scale commercial projects.
  • Ability to quickly become a technical specialist in PBS products and services.
  • Understanding of the project stages and decision-making process in commercial construction.
  • Driving license is essential for this role due to travel requirements.
