Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage the entire payroll process, including the calculation of wages, overtime, and deductions.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll to meet designated deadlines.
- Ensure the accuracy and security of payroll data and confidential employee information.
- Prepare and submit payroll taxes, ensuring compliance with all tax regulations.
- Review and analyze incoming information to assess accuracy and completeness, contacting managers or HR to clarify incomplete or inaccurate information.
- Calculate and raise manual payments as necessary, ensuring records are updated and recovery action is implemented.
- Work with managers on providing accurate and timely payroll information.
- Address and resolve any payroll-related issues or discrepancies in a timely and efficient manner.
- Provide support and guidance to employees regarding payroll-related inquiries or concerns.
- Stay up to date with payroll regulations and any related laws to ensure compliance.
- Provide necessary documentation and support to ensure compliance and accuracy during audits.
Requirements:
- Experience in payroll administration or a related field, with a demonstrated track record of managing payroll processes and systems.
- Experience using payroll software and Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of payroll processes, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Ability to conduct payroll audits and ensure the accuracy and integrity of payroll data.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to explain complex payroll-related information in a clear and understandable manner.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain positive relationships within CHEC.
