We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Project Manager to join our team at CHEC, a leading provider of Ophthalmology and Endoscopy services. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of payroll processes within our organization and its subsidiary companies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage the entire payroll process, including the calculation of wages, overtime, and deductions.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll to meet designated deadlines.
  • Ensure the accuracy and security of payroll data and confidential employee information.
  • Prepare and submit payroll taxes, ensuring compliance with all tax regulations.
  • Review and analyze incoming information to assess accuracy and completeness, contacting managers or HR to clarify incomplete or inaccurate information.
  • Calculate and raise manual payments as necessary, ensuring records are updated and recovery action is implemented.
  • Work with managers on providing accurate and timely payroll information.
  • Address and resolve any payroll-related issues or discrepancies in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Provide support and guidance to employees regarding payroll-related inquiries or concerns.
  • Stay up to date with payroll regulations and any related laws to ensure compliance.
  • Provide necessary documentation and support to ensure compliance and accuracy during audits.

Requirements:

  • Experience in payroll administration or a related field, with a demonstrated track record of managing payroll processes and systems.
  • Experience using payroll software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge of payroll processes, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to conduct payroll audits and ensure the accuracy and integrity of payroll data.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to explain complex payroll-related information in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain positive relationships within CHEC.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and a fast-paced work environment.
