Water Treatment Process Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Water Treatment Process Technician to join our team at Northumbrian Water/Essex & Suffolk Water. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our water treatment assets across our North Essex Water Supply area.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and control key water treatment assets at Layer and Langham Water Treatment Works and other sites within the area.
- Conduct routine water quality analysis, adjust treatment processes, monitor and control flow rates, undertake plant checks, front line maintenance tasks, validation checks on various types of instrumentation, and complete both paper and electronic records.
- Participate in out of hours standby rota requiring you to be available on a call-out basis to attend the site to resolve urgent issues overnight and at weekends.
- Work collaboratively with other teams to ensure the smooth operation of our water treatment assets and provide excellent customer service to our customers.
- Strong technical knowledge of water treatment processes and operations.
