About the Role:
We are seeking a talented and ambitious Swimming Instructor to join our Seahorse Swim School team at Horsenden Primary School. As part of our team, you will deliver a successful 'Learn to Swim' programme to our clients, providing a lasting impression and excellent customer service experience.
About the School:
Horsenden Primary School is a larger-than-average school with fantastic facilities, including a swimming pool, serving a diverse community in the Greenford area of the London Borough of Ealing. We are a good school where inclusion is at the heart of what we do.
What We Offer:
The Swim School is run as part of the Primary School, with an experienced Headteacher and Leadership team committed to professional development for all staff. You will receive support and development through an effective appraisal system and regular feedback from monitoring. Our team is enthusiastic, and our children are eager to make good progress in their learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with other Swimming Instructors to deliver a successful 'Learn to Swim' programme.
- Carry out administrative duties to support, monitor, and assess progress, and to support the smooth running of the swim school.
About You:
We are looking for a qualified Swimming Instructor with a minimum of ASA/UKCC Level 2 Certificate for Teaching Aquatics or ASA Level 2 Certificate for Coaching Swimming. Ideally, you will be teacher water safety qualified. You will be a passionate and experienced Swimming Instructor with a track record of working well with small groups and whole classes to produce good outcomes. You will be flexible and able to work as part of a team to improve outcomes for pupils.
