Principal IT is seeking a skilled Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our dynamic team.
As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our company's financial records, ensuring all invoices are processed efficiently and accurately.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Managing the purchase ledger, handling supplier queries, and reconciling statements
- Processing invoices and payments accurately and in a timely manner
- Managing supplier accounts and resolving any discrepancies
- Reconciliation of supplier statements and purchase ledger accounts
- Assisting with month-end closing activities
- Supporting the finance team with ad-hoc duties as required
We are looking for a candidate with:
- Proven experience in a similar purchase ledger or accounts payable role in the industry
- Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
