Job Summary:

Pertemps West Bromwich is seeking a reliable and experienced HGV 2 Driver to join our team on a temp to perm basis. As an HGV 2 Driver, you will be responsible for delivering and collecting goods across the UK, ensuring timely and safe transportation of cargo.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with regulations
  • Drive an HGV 2 vehicle, adhering to traffic laws and company policies
  • Deliver and collect goods, maintaining accurate records and logs
  • Operate in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple deliveries and collections
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives

Requirements:

  • Category C license entitlement
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in HGV driving
  • Valid Tacho and CPC
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
