The Role
The Navigation subject matter expert (SME) is responsible for gathering technical data to support the development of Defence Systems Approach to Training (DSAT) courseware and media. The Navigation SME will have suitable knowledge, skills, and behaviour and will understand the technical data required, the sources of that data, and how to access that data.
- Proven experience of Navigation is required.
- Training Requirements, Design or Delivery Role experience is desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Work as a member of a team responsible for the analysis, design, maintenance, review, and production of DSAT documentation and processes for our customer's training sites and organisations.
- Interview subject matter experts to collate required data, participate in internal workshops to discuss and agree findings from analysis.
- Work with the customer and the customer's agents and suppliers to identify technical data required for courseware and media development and also routes to obtain the data.
- Conduct the upkeep, update, and revalidation of course technical data.
- Identify where training methods and media currently in use in the customer may be exploited to better develop and deliver the Programme's courseware.
- Any other duties required to complete the T31 Training Service.
