Maintenance Engineer Opportunity

We are working with an established plastic product manufacturing company based in the North of England. They are recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to join their team on a day shift in return for a salary in the region of £40,000 along with overtime opportunities and additional training and development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Following planned, preventative maintenance schedules to ensure optimal equipment performance
  • Reacting quickly to machinery breakdowns to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency
  • Reading engineering drawings and schematics to identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
  • Servicing machinery to maintain its operational integrity
  • Performing mechanical and electrical maintenance and repair tasks to ensure equipment is functioning correctly
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure production continues running smoothly
  • Recording all work carried out to maintain accurate records
Requirements:
  • City and Guilds / Level 3 qualification in Engineering
  • Completion of an Engineering Apprenticeship
