About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at Broomgrove Nursing Home. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office and supporting our staff in their daily tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Administration: Process and record all payments, maintain accurate financial records, and ensure efficient financial operations.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to our staff, including creating invoices, managing petty cash, and maintaining resident contracts and policies.
  • Communication: Liaise with residents, families, and external parties to ensure effective communication and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • IT and Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on our Care Master system and Predicaire, and ensure that all data is secure and confidential.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in an administrative role, preferably in a healthcare or social care setting.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and proficiency in IT and data management.
  • Qualifications: Up-to-date understanding of care service practices, legislation, regulations, and standards is a bonus.
Benefits
  • Salary: £13.50 per hour (Mon-Fri) with a pay increase to £14.25 after 6 months of probation.
  • Holiday Entitlement: 6 weeks per year, with additional holiday entitlement after 5 years of service.
