Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fostering Advisor to join our team. As a Fostering Advisor, you will play a vital role in supporting our foster carers and ensuring the best possible outcomes for the children in our care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and support to foster carers on a range of issues, including child development, behavior management, and placement planning.
- Conduct regular visits to foster homes to assess the quality of care and provide feedback to carers.
- Work closely with other professionals, such as social workers and therapists, to ensure a comprehensive approach to supporting children and young people.
- Develop and maintain relationships with foster carers, building trust and confidence in their ability to provide high-quality care.
Requirements
- Experience of working with children and young people in a fostering or social care setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with foster carers and other professionals.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours.
- Knowledge of child development, behavior management, and placement planning.

- Competitive salary of £22,000 - £26,000 (dependent on experience).
