Key Responsibilities:

As a Bench Joiner, your duties will include:

  • Employing your bench joinery skills to fabricate and assemble custom furniture, cabinetry, and various wooden structures in accordance with specifications.
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints to effectively plan and execute carpentry tasks.
  • Measuring, cutting, shaping, and joining materials using both hand tools and power tools.
  • Installing fixtures, fittings, and hardware as necessary.
  • Maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations while ensuring a tidy and organized workspace.
Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Demonstrable experience as a Carpenter, particularly in bench joinery.
  • Proficiency in utilizing a diverse range of hand tools and power tools.
  • The ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately.
  • A keen eye for detail and strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Good physical stamina and the ability to remain on your feet for extended periods.
  • Effective time management skills to adhere to project timelines.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A valid driving license is preferred but not mandatory.
