Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide compassionate care to patients, visitors, and their families during their time in the department.
  • Serve as a chaperone in accordance with established policies.
  • Assist in the movement of patients within examination areas.
  • Utilize the Radiology Information System (RIS) to document patient episodes accurately.
  • Collaborate with a diverse range of healthcare professionals, including Radiographers, Nurses, Radiologists, and Consultants.
  • Support audit initiatives as necessary.
  • Adhere to Health & Safety regulations and departmental policies, including compliance with ionising radiation laws.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the Radiology department.
  • Ensure patient confidentiality is upheld at all times.
  • Work effectively as part of a cohesive team.
  • Possess knowledge of Radiology systems (RIS, PACS, IEP, Patient Database).

Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience in customer service, preferably with administrative duties.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to establish rapport with various stakeholders.
  • Flexibility to meet the required working hours.
  • A genuine passion for customer service and a commitment to excellence.
