About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Duty Manager to join our team at Hotel du Vin, Poole. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for the smooth operation of our customer-facing departments, including Food and Beverage and Front Office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the management of multiple departments, including Food and Beverage and Front Office
  • Work closely with the breakfast team, deal with busy check-out periods, and check bedrooms with the Housekeeping Manager
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Identify and address any operational issues or concerns
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers
  • Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of hospitality operations, including food and beverage, front office, and housekeeping
