Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified lawyer with experience in providing advice on a complex range of property, highways, and planning transactions. As a key member of our Property, Highways and Planning Team, you will work closely with other lawyers and occasionally external stakeholders to provide secure high-quality legal services, advice on all aspects of property law, highways law, and planning law.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide advice and support to the property, highways, and planning functions of the Council, including the governance around the planning function and decision making.
- Develop your own skills and experience while working closely with other legal teams and areas.
- Work closely with the Council's departments to support the Council's functions.
- Attend and advise at Planning Committees.
- Provide solutions-focused property, highways, and planning law advice and support to the Council and other public bodies.
Requirements:
We are looking for a highly skilled lawyer with significant knowledge of Property, Highways, and Planning Law and practice. You will have the ability to work as part of a team and ensure the provision of quality, client-focused, and cost-effective legal services.
