Job Summary:

Christy Media Solutions is seeking a highly skilled MCR Broadcast Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth transmission of our satellite services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and manage Broadcast Baseband and RF equipment for digital video services, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues with video, RF, and antenna control systems, minimizing downtime and ensuring seamless service delivery.
  • Administer and operate Dataminer systems, providing real-time insights and analytics to inform business decisions.
  • Ensure top-notch quality for both permanent and ad-hoc broadcasts, meeting the highest standards of our clients and partners.
  • Collaborate with clients and suppliers under tight deadlines, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Train and mentor fellow engineers, sharing knowledge and expertise to drive team success.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Communications or Electronic Engineering (preferred), with a strong foundation in satellite communications and broadcast technology.
  • Strong understanding of DVB principles and satellite RF systems, with experience in operating DVB transport stream analysers, Nimbra network and multiplexers.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, with excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving complex issues.
  • Professionalism, teamwork, and strong communication abilities, with a focus on delivering exceptional results and building strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
