Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Metal Fabrication Specialist to join our team at Thornton Roofing. As a key member of our Metalworks Department, you will be responsible for fabricating and installing metal structures, including staircases, handrails, and entrance gates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fabricate complex metal components with high precision using MIG, TIG, and arc welding techniques.
  • Interpret and work from technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate fabrications.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects and maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Perform on-site fabrication and installations as needed.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Welder/Fabricator in a construction or manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and/or arc welding.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Familiarity with modern fabrication processes and workshop practices.
