Nutrition Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Bank Chef to join our team at Bright Horizons Family Solutions. As a Bank Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting healthy and nutritious meals for our children, while ensuring a safe and clean kitchen environment.

• Prepare and cook meals for children, adhering to dietary requirements and food safety guidelines
• Lead cookery club sessions with children, promoting healthy eating and nutrition
• Manage kitchen stock levels and maintain a clean and safe environment
• Work collaboratively with the nursery team and parents to encourage healthy eating habits
• Promote child welfare, protection, health and safety, and safeguarding

• Previous experience in a cooking role, preferably in a domestic or commercial setting
• Passion for nutrition and inspiring others to adopt healthy eating habits
• Food Safety CIEH L2 or above (or equivalent) - must be passed on day 1 in post
• Sound knowledge of COSHH and managing different dietary requirements
• Excellent communication skills, with colleagues, children, and parents
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain a positive attitude
