Our client, a leading provider of authoritative, commercially aware town planning advice, specializes in delivering pragmatic, practical solutions and a highly personalized service to a range of clients across the UK. Projects vary in size and complexity but typically fall in the residential, commercial, renewables, retail, and education sectors.
The Senior Planning Consultant will support the company's client base with the following services:
- Planning Applications
- Planning Appeals & Expert Witness
- Planning Enforcement
- Lawful Development Certificates
- Site Searches, Planning Audits, and Development Appraisals
- Feasibility and Due Diligence Advice
- Development Strategies and Risk Assessments
- Asset and Portfolio Management Advice
- Strategic Advice and Land Promotion
- Retail Planning Consultancy
- Defensive Planning and Objections
- Development Plan Representations and Monitoring
- Pre-Application Consultations
Qualifications & Experience Required
- An RTPI accredited degree or Masters in a related discipline.
- Suitable planning experience required.
- Private sector advantageous.
- Good communication skills.
- Solid report writing skills.
- Understanding of the UK planning process.
Salary / Benefits
In return for your commitment and hard work, you will be rewarded with a competitive starting salary (guide of £40,000 - £50,000pa), a strong benefits package including bonus, a varied workload, and an experienced leadership team for support.
