Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Long-term Teachers Ltd. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs, providing a safe and inclusive learning environment.

About the Role:

This is a full-time SEN role with a September start, assisting a SEN/SEMH student. The ideal candidate will possess patience, experience in behavioural management, and a nurturing mindset. You will work closely with teachers and parents to ensure the student receives the best possible support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to students with SEN/SEMH needs
  • Assist teachers with lesson planning and implementation
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents
  • Contribute to a safe and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with the teaching team to develop and implement behaviour management strategies
