About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Team Leader to join our Care UK team. As a Team Leader in Care, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of care and support for our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise your shift, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and other stakeholders to develop and implement effective care plans.
- Administer and record medication, maintaining accurate records and adhering to protocols.
- Conduct risk assessments, identifying potential hazards and implementing measures to mitigate them.
- Work closely with care assistants to support residents with daily needs, promoting independence and well-being.
- Contribute to the development of services, working closely with the leadership team to drive improvement and excellence.
- Provide a professional and inclusive approach, ensuring a positive experience for residents, families, and colleagues alike.
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in health and social care or equivalent experience.
- Excellent organizational and IT skills, with the ability to allocate and delegate work effectively.
- Proven leadership and supervisory experience, with a track record of success.
- A good understanding of care planning processes and the ability to implement them effectively.
- Experience in administering medication or a willingness to undertake training.
- A natural ability to empathize with others and provide support when needed.
