Affinity Care Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and experienced individual for the role of Registered Manager in the care sector. As the Registered Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the management and delivery of our CQC registered services. You will lead a passionate team to ensure that all service users receive the highest quality of care and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily operations of the service, ensuring adherence to CQC regulations, health and safety protocols, and organizational policies.
  • Tailor services to meet the unique needs of each service user through effective care planning and assessment.
  • Establish and implement quality assurance measures to assess and enhance service delivery.
  • Create and maintain weekly staff schedules, aiming to minimize costs and reduce reliance on agency personnel.

Leadership Duties:

  • Provide strong leadership and mentorship to the team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise staff to ensure they possess the necessary skills to deliver exceptional care.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and facilitate professional development for team members.
  • Uphold the company’s vision and maintain its esteemed reputation within the sector.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A recognized qualification in Health and Social Care (e.g., NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care Management or equivalent).
  • Demonstrated experience as a Registered Manager or in a comparable leadership role within a health and social care environment (minimum of 2 years).
  • Thorough understanding of CQC regulations, health and safety standards, and best practices in care delivery.
  • Strong leadership, management, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in managing budgets and resources effectively.
  • Commitment to person-centered care and continuous improvement.
  • Experience working with individuals with complex needs, including learning disabilities and mental health conditions.

The ideal candidate will be a compassionate and skilled Registered Manager or deputy manager who is dedicated to the sector, possesses analytical skills, and aligns with the company’s vision for delivering high-quality care. Knowledge of CQC standards and regulations is crucial. In this role, you will manage budgets, oversee quality assurance processes, and handle safeguarding and incident management.
