Affinity Care Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and experienced individual for the role of Registered Manager in the care sector. Our client is committed to providing exceptional care services to individuals with diverse needs, including learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and mental health conditions.
As the Registered Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the management and delivery of our CQC registered services. You will lead a passionate team to ensure that all service users receive the highest quality of care and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily operations of the service, ensuring adherence to CQC regulations, health and safety protocols, and organizational policies.
- Tailor services to meet the unique needs of each service user through effective care planning and assessment.
- Establish and implement quality assurance measures to assess and enhance service delivery.
- Create and maintain weekly staff schedules, aiming to minimize costs and reduce reliance on agency personnel.
Leadership Duties:
- Provide strong leadership and mentorship to the team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Recruit, train, and supervise staff to ensure they possess the necessary skills to deliver exceptional care.
- Conduct performance evaluations and facilitate professional development for team members.
- Uphold the company’s vision and maintain its esteemed reputation within the sector.
Essential Qualifications:
- A recognized qualification in Health and Social Care (e.g., NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care Management or equivalent).
- Demonstrated experience as a Registered Manager or in a comparable leadership role within a health and social care environment (minimum of 2 years).
- Thorough understanding of CQC regulations, health and safety standards, and best practices in care delivery.
- Strong leadership, management, and interpersonal abilities.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Proficient in managing budgets and resources effectively.
- Commitment to person-centered care and continuous improvement.
- Experience working with individuals with complex needs, including learning disabilities and mental health conditions.
The ideal candidate will be a compassionate and skilled Registered Manager or deputy manager who is dedicated to the sector, possesses analytical skills, and aligns with the company’s vision for delivering high-quality care. Knowledge of CQC standards and regulations is crucial. In this role, you will manage budgets, oversee quality assurance processes, and handle safeguarding and incident management.
