We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Catering to join our team at Holroyd Howe. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading our catering services and ensuring that we deliver exceptional dining experiences to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement menus that cater to diverse dietary requirements and preferences, working closely with our back-of-house team to ensure high-quality food production.
- Manage the catering budget, ensuring cost-effective operations while maintaining quality standards.
- Establish strong relationships with our stakeholders, including school Bursars, Head Teachers, and faculty, to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate catering staff to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food production.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, hygiene standards, and quality control protocols, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Identify opportunities for growth, innovation, and improvement in menu offerings, service delivery, and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a senior Director of Catering in a high-volume, quality-focused environment.
- Ability to demonstrate strong leadership and management skills, with a proven track record of managing, training, and supporting a team.
- Financially astute, with excellent analytical and budgeting skills.
- Excellent coaching, delegation, and influencing skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Meticulous organizational abilities and a high attention to detail.
- Empathetic, clear, and highly effective verbal and written communication skills.
