About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Central Government Sales Director to join our team at Quantexa Limited. As a key member of our UK Government sector team, you will be responsible for executing the sales go-to-market strategy, identifying new opportunities, building our pipeline, winning new deals, and meeting company targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with our Head of UK Public Sector and the Director of Government Solutions to define and execute the sales strategy and go-to-market plan for the UK Central Government Sector.
  • Consistently deliver against sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the business.
  • Bring together people from different teams, including Solutions Engineers, Marketing, Delivery, Solution Success, and others.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the UK Central Government sector.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships with System Integrators, Cloud platform providers, and Consultancy organizations.
  • Nurture existing accounts and identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities with existing clients.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends and competitor activity in the UK Central Government sector.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of success in sales, particularly in the Government sector.
  • Strong understanding of the Government sector's operational and buying processes.
  • Experience building partnerships with key stakeholders in the Government sector.
  • Ability to integrate into effective sales teams and lead opportunities.
  • Existing relationships within the UK Central Government sector.
  • Expertise working and solution selling within the UK Central Government sector.
  • Ability to be an independent decision-maker but also inclusive when evaluating options.
  • Ambitious and energetic with strong inter-personal skills.
  • Strong commercial and entrepreneurial qualities.
  • Good team player, capable of delivering results in less challenging circumstances.
  • Ability to support market changes, flagging these early and reacting effectively and positively.
