Position: Skilled Tradesperson
Location: South West Region
Salary: £33,702 - £35,476 annually
Hours: 40 hours per week
We are seeking a Skilled Tradesperson to join our dynamic team, providing services across various sites in the South West. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing residential properties, primarily within the TQ area. The position requires both teamwork and occasional independent work. Your responsibilities will include tasks such as bricklaying, plumbing, carpentry, and general upkeep. A company vehicle and necessary power tools will be supplied to ensure you can perform your duties effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Executing construction, repair, and maintenance tasks according to contract specifications.
- Maintaining tools and equipment in optimal condition and ensuring timely restocking.
- Addressing customer complaints and service interruptions by resolving issues or initiating appropriate solutions, while keeping clients informed.
- Providing clear and timely updates on the progress of work to customers.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- To comply with Building Safety regulations, candidates must possess or be pursuing an NVQ Level 2 qualification in a core trade (carpentry, electrical). For plumbing, a Level 3 qualification along with Unvented - G3 Certificate and Water Regulations (WRAS) is required. Candidates with lower qualifications but relevant experience are encouraged to apply, provided they are willing to obtain the necessary qualifications with support from Sanctuary Group.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and working practices.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and plan effectively.
- A valid UK driving license is required for driving company vehicles.
Interview Process:
Candidates will need to present original certification verifying their qualifications during the interview. Copies and CSCS cards will not be accepted.
