About the Role: Adamas Lux is seeking a personable and efficient Food Service Associate to enhance our team in Bristol. In this position, you will deliver outstanding service to our patrons, ensuring a delightful dining experience. Your responsibilities will include taking orders, serving meals and beverages, and fostering a welcoming environment in our establishment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome and seat patrons in a friendly and professional manner, providing menus and detailing daily specials.
- Accurately take and record food and drink orders using the point-of-sale system.
- Serve meals and beverages to patrons promptly and efficiently, ensuring all items are presented according to our standards.
- Monitor tables to ensure patrons are satisfied with their meals and address any concerns or special requests.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate order preparation and delivery.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and requests with professionalism and courtesy.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables and managing utensils.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including food handling and sanitation practices.
- Assist with inventory management, including tracking supplies and reporting shortages to management.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on menu changes, service techniques, and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a food service associate or in a customer service role is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on providing outstanding customer service.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Basic proficiency in using point-of-sale systems and handling cash and credit transactions.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
