About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join our client's growing team as they work towards the development of their next generation of products. The solutions you will be working on are real-life devices that are helping customers meet sustainability targets.

You will be joining a small to medium-sized team and have the chance to contribute throughout the full design life cycle on their range of next-generation products. You can expect to be involved in all aspects related to software development and should expect to use the following skills on a daily basis:

  • C/C++ programming
  • RTOS platforms - including FreeRTOS
  • SPI, I2C, CAN, RS232, RS485 protocols
  • Git and SVN

This role will best suit an Embedded Software Engineer with strong industry experience in a similar, hands-on development role who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and is keen to make a real impact in the design of a range of industry-leading products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop software for embedded systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product development
  • Develop and maintain software documentation
  • Identify and implement process improvements

Desirable Skills:
