Job Description

About the Role

CRA GROUP LIMITED is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Control Surveyor to join our team. As a Building Control Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that buildings are designed and constructed in accordance with the relevant building regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice on building regulations and compliance to clients and stakeholders
  • Conduct site inspections and plan checks to ensure compliance with building regulations
  • Investigate and enforce compliance matters and complaints
  • Collect and maintain accurate records of building control activities
  • Validate applications and assess fees
  • Provide special building regulatory advice and guidance to clients and stakeholders

Requirements

  • Experience of building control processes and working in a building control service
  • Experience and evidence of working on a range of projects
  • BSR registration as a Class 2 building inspector
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
