About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health and Safety Advisor to join our team at Laing O'Rourke. As a key member of our Expanded Structures project in Birmingham, you will play a vital role in promoting a culture of inclusion and wellbeing among our staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as an advisor, facilitator, and champion for Health and Safety delivery within the project.
  • Provide local advice and support to assist managers and staff in fulfilling their health and safety responsibilities.
  • Facilitate and coach operational teams on Inclusion+Wellbeing and engagement tools.
  • Carry out relevant H&S assurance activities to ensure operational effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • Qualification at level 4 (minimum)
  • Technical knowledge in Occupational Health Risk Management and Wellbeing
  • Technical knowledge in Safety Risk Management
  • Coaching/Training competence
  • Assurance/Audit/Investigation competence
  • Member of a relevant professional body
