Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Social Care Assistant to join our team at HCRG Workforce Solutions. As a Social Care Assistant - Transport Support, you will be responsible for transporting children to and from school, providing support and care during the journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transport children to and from school, ensuring their safety and well-being during the journey
  • Provide support and care to children during the transport, including assistance with daily living tasks
  • Work closely with the transport team to ensure smooth and efficient transport operations
  • Maintain accurate records of transport activities and ensure compliance with relevant regulations

Requirements:

  • Relevant social work qualification with at least 2 years post-qualifying experience
  • Enhanced DBS and full driving licence
  • Experience of working with looked after children and understanding of their needs
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
