About the Role

At Apprentify, we are collaborating with a client in the cybersecurity sector who is seeking a dedicated sales executive to enhance their expanding sales team. Below is a detailed overview of the position:

We are in search of driven sales executive apprentices eager to advance their careers and embark on their journey in IT sales, engaging with leading technology brands globally. We value individuals who possess a keen interest in technology and, most importantly, a commitment to building trust with potential clients, ultimately leading to successful sales and long-term partnerships. As you step into this role, you will manage a designated set of accounts to prospect and nurture, supported by training from our experienced sales team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engaging with potential clients through various channels including phone calls, face-to-face meetings, social selling, and email outreach.
  • Conducting client meetings to present our range of services and solutions, addressing their specific challenges.
  • Continuing to cultivate and strengthen relationships with existing accounts, identifying opportunities for upselling.
  • Maintaining an active sales pipeline and ensuring CRM systems are consistently updated.

Entry Requirements

  • Must have achieved a C/4 or above in GCSE Mathematics and English.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and have access to a vehicle.
  • 3-12 months of sales experience is preferred.
  • Must have resided in the UK for the past three years.

Skills Required

Strong communication skills, proficiency in IT, customer service expertise, initiative, and creativity.

Training Opportunities

This role involves working as a sales professional in either Business to Business or Business to Consumer markets, focusing on selling specific products or services. You will plan your sales activities, manage the complete sales interaction with customers, and oversee your sales processes internally. Responsibilities include retaining and expanding existing customer accounts while generating new business through outreach, qualifying opportunities, and successfully closing sales.

A Sales Executive will build customer relationships by establishing rapport and instilling confidence in their capabilities through comprehensive product knowledge, market understanding, and ensuring a positive customer experience.

Considerations

Opportunity to complete a Level 4 Sales Executive program with a reputable provider, Apprentify. A commission scheme is in place to reward achieving targets, generating new business, or upgrading existing client accounts. Enjoy 20 days of annual leave, increasing by 3 days each year.
