Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized support to individuals with learning disabilities and autism, promoting independence and personal growth.
- Assist with daily living skills, including cooking, shopping, and personal care, while encouraging autonomy.
- Plan and facilitate activities that help develop social, cognitive, and motor skills, such as arts and crafts, games, and sensory experiences.
- Engage clients in community-based activities and outings, helping them build confidence and connections.
- Work collaboratively with the team to adapt to the needs of service users and the organization.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with individuals with learning disabilities or autism.
- A caring, empathetic, and patient attitude with strong communication skills.
- Ability to commit to at least 24 hours of work per week.
- Access to a reliable vehicle is essential for this role.
